The Point de Mire Music Piano Course is a comprehensive, immersive program that guides students of all ages through the art of piano playing. The curriculum is structured to provide a balanced approach that includes essential music theory, helping learners understand harmony, scales, and chord progressions that underpin all musical styles. Our focus on technique ensures students develop proper finger placement, posture, and fluidity, while progressively building dexterity and expression.

Students are introduced to music history, gaining insight into the evolution of piano music from classical to contemporary genres. This knowledge enriches their interpretative skills, allowing them to play with historical and stylistic context. Building a varied repertoire is integral to the course, as students explore classical pieces, jazz standards, pop arrangements, and more, developing versatility and personal style.
Sight-reading and ear training are core elements, enabling students to play unfamiliar pieces confidently and recognize musical patterns by ear. To strengthen musicality further, we incorporate melody and rhythm dictation exercises, sharpening listening skills and rhythmic precision.

At Point de Mire Music, we believe in nurturing each student's unique musical journey, fostering creativity, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for the piano.
